The values held At Al-Ameen Integrated College (AIC) are established by using a holistic approach to learning; one in which the essential elements of achieving human excellence – in an intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual context – are instilled in our students starting at the earliest stages. We aim to raise students who demonstrate impeccable Islamic character along with advanced academic skills and exemplary citizenship.
One of AIC’s most important priorities is to develop our students’ cognitive and social skills through integrating Islamic values with the school’s academics. We recognize that the success to building the characters of our Learners is contingent upon our efforts to demonstrate important values in their day to day life. We expect our senior leaders, teachers and support staff to be a living example of these values.
We know that its only through embedding these values in our daily routine we will succeed in our Students embracing them. Hence, our school uses the ‘RISE’ – Keys to Students’ Success model to achieve this as illustrated below:
R- RESPECT: This requires that every student and staff of AIC school learn to obey the Creator and thus treat humankind, our environment, the believers and ourselves with respect. Respect for humanity means staying away from sins that will sow discord among the people and lead to destruction, loving for our brothers and sisters what we love for ourselves, and treating others the way we expect to be treated and the way we hope God will treat us –with compassion, love and mercy.
I – INTEGRITY : We aim to instill the practice of being honest and having strong moral principles and uprightness in the students of AIC. This can only be achieved when students show a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values set by the school.
S – SINCERITY
